One thing that is super cool when shooting macro insects is that you bring yourself, in a way, down to their scale, their world.
This image is one where I was photographing a dragon fly and in what seemed like a split second, it flew behind me, I heard a "buzzing" and then it landed basically in the same spot it was originally but with a fresh meal.
It was like experiencing up close a wolf capturing its' prey and having lunch .... all in the matter of a second.
